The seminar will be taking place on the 21st of October from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The seminar will be about Data Analytics: Introduction, Methods, and Application Examples, by Professor Paulo Cortez, Full Professor at the Department of Information Systems (DSI) Researcher at ALGORITMI.
“This seminar will start with a brief introduction several concepts related with Data Analytics (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Business Analytics). Then, some types of Data Analytics methods (e.g., Descriptive, Predictive or Prescriptive) will be discussed. Finally, several Data Analytics application examples will be presented (e.g., Banking, Industry, Civil Engineering).“
